TERMS & CONDITIONS.
1. Prices quoted are for a 5-hour period from when the vehicle leaves the base until it returns. The latest release time will be given to you.
2. Hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and within the Nairobi area only i.e. up to Safari Park, Windsor, Kikuyu, Village Market, Mwitu estate, Banda School, Airport turnoff. Otherwise, consult.
3. Cars are provided with a driver.
4. A deposit of Kshs. 30,000/= per car is required which will be refunded to you if the car does not go into overtime and so long as all other financial obligations have been met otherwise the appropriate deductions will be made from the deposit.
5. Please note the reimbursement of any overtime deposit is done the day before the driver leaves and it’s your responsibility to see this done.
Should for any reason this is not possible then requires or re-imbursement must be settled within
a week of the event. After that, no further reimbursement or queries will be entertained.
Please further note that if the designated person to whom the money is to be returned is not
available it will be given to a member of your bridal party i.e. co-ordinators, transport manager
etc. unless otherwise advised.

BOOKING
6. It would be appreciated if cars can be booked within good time
7. Confirmed booking is made on receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit subject to availability of the car (s) Balance is due three weeks before the wedding, including the deposit (paragraph 4).
N.B. If the balance is not paid on time then a penalty of Kshs. 500/= per day or part thereof will be incurred for up to one week. Thereafter it will be assumed the car has been cancelled and you will forfeit your deposit.

ITINERARY
Your itinerary and map must be in our hands at least three weeks before your wedding (sooner if possible). Any itinerary received less than three weeks before the wedding will incur a Kshs. 1,000/= penalty.

 SURCHARGE RATES
Cars required to leave before 8 am will incur an additional charge of Ksh. 15,000/= per hour or part thereof.
Cars retained so as not to be back at base by 6 pm will incur a surcharge of Kshs. 15,000/= per hour or part thereof.
Cars going into overtime between 8 am and 6 pm will be subject to an overtime charge of Kshs. 15,000/= per hour of thereof.

OUT OF HOURS OR OUT OF NAIROBI
Any vehicle required after 6 pm or out of Nairobi should contact us for a special quotation, however, we try to avoid having vehicles out after dark whenever possible.

VIEWING
Cars can be viewed at No. 97 Miotoni Road, Karen between the hours of 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Saturday.

LIABILITY
No liability whatsoever can be accepted for breakdown or any other causes for non-performance although every endeavour will be made to see that you receive satisfaction.
It is understood that as these cars are kept and maintained purely as a hobby and the payment is put towards restoration, maintenance etc., passengers ride purely at their own risk and with no liability of any kind whenever or however can be accepted.
Any damage caused to a vehicle as a direct result of over-exuberant guests or similar causes will be to your account and if any such circumstances arise which could put the vehicle(s) in jeopardy we maintain the right to withdraw the vehicle(s) without further reference or refund unless the situation can be rectified immediately. Please therefore ensure that the vehicle(s) are treated with respect.

RIOTS
The cars will not proceed into areas where there is rioting or rioting has just occurred or is likely to re-occur, in such a case you must make alternative arrangements.
If the car has been cancelled by you before the cars left the base on the grounds of riots 50% of the fee will be refunded. If, however, the car has left there will be no refund.

CAR DECORATIONS
This can be arranged by you at the base before the cars leave. However, any delays by the decorators/florists will not be our liability and the car will still be costed from its original designated leaving time.
Please note, if you wish to decorate the car the day before this can be arranged provided that the car is not out on a function so please check with the prior sending your florists.
Wedding ribbons, flowers etc. should be provided and attached by you under supervision in such a way as not to impair the driver’s vision cause damage to the vehicle or restrict the vehicle’s cooling system.

DEPARTURE TIME
The car will depart from the base at the time designated by you but we can take no responsibility for the arrival time but every effort will be made to arrive at the required time.
We suggest you allow for traffic jams, accidents etc. and allow the vehicle plenty of time to reach the destination from the base in Karen. The car will depart at the time designated by you.

REFUNDS
The overtime refund will be paid back to you in accordance with paragraph 4. No refunds can be entertained unless for special circumstances i.e. break downs etc. in which case the refund amount will be determined solely at our discretion.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
a) “NO SMOKING” should be observed in all cars.
b) Likewise “NO EATING OR DRINKING”
Please note that once the driver reaches your venue he (she) will take instructions from you as not all drivers may be conversant with points on your itinerary.
In conclusion, every effort is made to maintain and keep the cars in a roadworthy condition however with vehicles, many of which are 80 years old or more it is inevitable that problems of one sort or another occur from time to time.
Should a vehicle for any reason develop a problem prior to departure we will try to contact you to provide an alternative car. If a car has a problem during the function again we will try to replace it with an alternative car if possible.
A back-up vehicle is always advisable.

DEPLETION OF OVERTIME DEPOSIT
Should your overtime deposit become depleted and you want the car and driver to remain thenyou must give the driver further funds as per the surcharge rates item 9 otherwise the driver(s) isinstructed to leave.
