However, the 1934 Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is our most exclusive vintage option and starts at KES 130,000 for the same 5-hour minimum.
A few things worth knowing before you compare prices:
- The 5 hours run from when the car leaves our base to when it returns, not from when it reaches your venue.
- Extra time is charged at KES 15,000 per hour or part of an hour.
- Standard hours are 8 am to 6 pm. An earlier departure or a later return attracts the same hourly surcharge.
- A refundable deposit of KES 30,000 per car covers possible overtime. You get it back if the booking finishes on schedule.
- To confirm a date, we take 50% up front, with the balance due three weeks before the event.

Every vintage booking comes with a professional chauffeur. We do not release these cars for self-drive.

If you want the car for five hours at a venue in Naivasha and the drive takes about two hours each way, you are booking around nine hours in total. Two hours out, five hours at the destination, two hours back.
Actual driving time depends on the route and the day, and a pre-war car takes the Rift Valley escarpment more gently than a modern one. We build that into the quote.

Can the car be decorated for a wedding?
Yes, with some care. Ribbons and flowers need to be supplied and fitted by your decorator, under the driver’s supervision, in a way that does not block his vision, damage the paintwork or cover the radiator. With a modern fleet, there is usually another car of the same model. With vintage there is one Sedanca de Ville and one Boat Tail. If your date is taken, it is taken.
December and Saturdays go first. Booking early also gives you time to settle the itinerary, the photography stops and the decorations without rushing.
What happens if the car has a mechanical problem?
These are historic machines, and we are honest about that. We service and prepare them before every booking, but a car built in the 1930s carries a risk that a modern saloon does not, and our terms reflect it. We cannot accept liability for breakdown, though we will do everything we reasonably can to sort you out on the day, including offering an alternative vehicle where one is available.
The practical advice is to leave breathing room between the major parts of your day. That is sensible for any wedding. With a vintage car it is essential.
